EAST LANSING, MI — Homecoming week is underway at Michigan State University. The annual green and white white celebration includes the 2026 parade on Friday evening and the Spartans playing the Illinois Fighting Illini on Saturday.
The parade is a beloved Spartan tradition that brings the community together for a celebration of pride and spirit, according to a press release. Experience the energy of the Spartan Marching Band, Michigan high school bands, MSU campus groups, community organizations, university leaders and of course, Sparty himself. It begins at 6:00 p.m. Friday and heads east through downtown East Lansing before finding its way to the MSU campus.
