LANSING, MI — Downtown Lansing Inc. invites the community to the final Downtown After 5 this week. The event on Thursday Aug. 20, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. is designed to showcase local businesses, entertainment and the Downtown Lansing social district.
According to a press release, this month’s activities include a mini-vendor market and art project on the 100 block of Washington Square, a live performance by local band Pinter Whitnick at Nelson Gallery, and The Dangling Participles performing as part of the Grand Concert Series at the Lansing Center’s Riverfront Plaza.
The evening is also a chance to experience Lansing’s Downtown Social District, where adults 21 and older can purchase an alcoholic beverage from participating businesses and enjoy it outdoors
within the designated district boundaries while exploring downtown.
