CHARLOTTE, MI — Bluegrass music will take the main stage at the Charlotte Bluegrass Festival, which is set to start today with lots of music, camping, workshops and some of the biggest names in Bluegrass.
The event, now in its 54 year, historically has been considered Michigan’s premier bluegrass festival, giving attendees three days of live performances from award-winning bluegrass artists.
This year’s festival will take place at the Eaton County Fairgrounds and feature legendary acts such as the Dan Tyminski band, the Del McCoury Band, and The Travelin’ McCoury’s.
The festival begins Thursday afternoon at 12:00 p.m. and will end on Saturday. Tickets cost $45 per day, while children 16 and under have free admission while accompanied by a ticket holder, according to a press release.
