LANSING, MI — Two weekends per year, families can enjoy one of Michigan’s favorite outdoor activities, fishing, for free. And this is one of those weekends.
According to the Michigan Department of Natural Resources, all fishing license fees will be waived for the two days of Free Fishing Weekend in the state. That includes June 13-14.
Residents and out-of-state visitors may enjoy fishing on both inland and Great Lakes waters for all species of fish,” the DNR says.
