EAST LANSING, MI — In its never ending search for more revenue, Michigan State University has announced Spartan Mobile, a wireless service for MSU fans on the T-Mobile 5G network.
Spartans Mobile allows fans and customers to support Michigan State University, take advantage of exclusive game day perks, showcase their fandom, and stay connected with the school and community they love, according to a press release.
It’s not clear what the new plan costs, but “every monthly customer payment provides an automatic contribution to the Michigan State Athletics FOR SPARTA campaign or the Varsity S Club. There’s no extra cost, just extra money for the winning teams and programs they love.”
There will also be game day VIP perks for ticket holders, according to MSU. Those include seat upgrades and giveaways.
