Multistate lawsuit challenges new children’s vaccine schedule

LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A multistate lawsuit is challenging the new children’s vaccination schedule in the U.S.

Michigan is among the states that have joined the lawsuit challenging the January 5th “decision memo” from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention stripping the universally recommended status for seven childhood vaccines.

Those are for rotavirus, hepatitis A, hepatitis B, influenza, COVID-19, RSV, and meningococcal disease.

Michigan’s chief medical executive Dr. Natasha Bagdasarian issued a “standing recommendation” for people to follow the immunization schedule from the American Academy of Pediatrics or the American Academy of Family Physicians.
