DETROIT, MI — General Motors Co. on Tuesday reported higher revenue and profit in the third quarter, as the automaker’s earnings from its North American operations increased.
GM reported revenue of $50 billion for the quarter ended Sept. 30, up 2.9% from $48.6 billion in the same period last year.
Despite the revenue bump in Q3 2026, GM sold only 670,974 vehicles in the U.S. during the third quarter of 2026, marking a 5.5% to 6% decrease compared to the same period in 2025. Strong demand for full-size pickup trucks and SUVs offset weaker electric vehicle deliveries.
