KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Pollsters with GBAO say the Fourth Congressional District race is nearly tied, with state Senator Sean McCann leading Congressman Bill Huizenga 47%-to-46%.
The Democratic state lawmaker has a 50%-to-36% lead among independent voters and 51% to 43% lead among voters who can identify both candidates.
The poll found 56% of voters in the west Michigan district view President Trump unfavorably, compared to 39% who approve of the job he’s doing.
Huizenga’s campaign downplayed the poll results.
