LANSING, MI — Golf makes its return to Jackson Field in Lansing this weekend. The home to Lansing Lugnuts will serve as the Grand River Country Club, featuring nine tee boxes spaced throughout the ballpark, seven elevated, with all nine greens located on the playing field.
Golf balls are provided, but golfers are encouraged to bring their own clubs. Only 9-irons and wedges are allowed. The fall session is from Thursday, Sept. 17, through Sunday, Sept. 20.
The Grand River Country Club is open to individuals and foursomes of all ability levels, with each golfer receiving three shots at each hole to score as many points as they can:
• 25 points for a hole-in-one,
• 10 points for a ball on the green,
• 2 points for a ball on the field.
