LANSING, MI — The restaurants in mid-Michigan seem to come and go. Now, another one is going away. Smokey Bones has abruptly closed it’s location in the Eastwood Towne Center, according to a report in the Lansing State Journal.
The restaurant, at 2401 Lake Lansing Road, opened over a decade ago. The Lansing location was the last remaining Michigan Smokey Bones location.
FAT Brands, the global company that owns the Smokey Bones chain, said last summer is was downsizing and closing underperforming locations. The Lansing township restaurant opened in early 2004.
