JACKSON, MI — A massive fire ripped through Thayer Marine in Jackson on Wednesday morning. The fire, first reported around 8:15 a.m., appears to have totally destroyed the marina.
The company has served southeast Michigan for 38 years and is best known as a Bennington Pontoon and Four Winns dealer. The business, at 5350 South US-127 in Jackson, also offered repair services and boat storage.
