DIMONDALE, MI — The former Summit Sports Complex, once home to two ice rinks, athletic turf fields and a gymnastics club, will now be setting empty once again.
Skymint, which had purchased the property near Dimondale to turn into a giant marijuana grow operation, will close the operation, according to Media Partner 6 News WLNS in Lansing. More than 143 employees will lose their jobs.
In addition to the grow facility, the pot company has three retail facilities in Lansing. The closure won’t affect retail stores.
