LANSING, MI — It’s not clear when new signage will go up but Sparrow Health System is now officially a part of University of Michigan Health. Sparrow Health officials on Monday announced the new partnership that took effect April 1st.
It was in December 2022 that Michigan Medicine, the University of Michigan’s health system, announced it was planning on buying Sparrow. Part of the deal includes U of M Health committing 800-million dollars in investments to Sparrow over the next eight years to allow for better patient care.
