Whitmer orders flags lowered to half-staff in wake of Minneapolis school shooting

LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) –  Governor Gretchen Whitmer is ordering flags across Michigan to be lowered to half-staff to honor the victims of the shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis.

Flags will remain at half-staff until sunset Sunday, August 31.

Whitmer said “Michiganders’ hearts are with the students, families, and teachers of Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, Minnesota.”
