EAST LANSING, MI — Michigan State is headed to the NCAA Tournament as the seven-seed in the East Region. The Spartans will open up against 10th-seeded USC on Friday in Columbus, Ohio.
The game will tip-off at 12:15 p.m. and be broadcast on media partner WLNS TV 6 in Lansing. The winner will advance to play either second-seeded Marquette or 15th-seeded Vermont in round two on Sunday afternoon.
The March Madness bid is MSU head coach Tom Izzo’s 25 consecutive invite to the NCAA colege basketball tournament.
