LANSING, MI — The former Sawyers Pontiac dealership on Michigan Avenue in East Lansing might be turned into a recreational and medical marijuana dispensary.
Ascend Wellness Holdings is requesting final approval from the city council and needs to get its state license. The East Lansing planning commission this week waived a second hearing requirement and voted to approve the special use permit.
Ascend already has stores in Battle Creek, Detroit, and Grand Rapids.
