EAST LANSING, MI — Michigan State University fans attending sporting events at MSU this fall will need to have a mask handy.
The university announced on Friday that seating at Spartan Stadium will be at full capacity, however there will be COVID-19 safety protocols in place, including wearing masks in indoor areas of Spartan Stadium.
The indoor face covering requirement includes the concourse of Spartan Stadium, restrooms, elevators, indoor suite and club areas and the press box. Football fans will need a mask to enter through Spartan Stadium gates. Masks will also be encouraged in the outdoor seating areas of Spartan Stadium, but not required, the school said in a press release.
The protocols at Spartan Stadium will be in effect during next Monday night’s “Meet the Spartans” event.
