LANSING, MI — Governor Whitmer and state educators are launching the MI Blueprint for Comprehensive Student Recovery to help districts come up with plans to give students what they need after the COVID-19 pandemic ends.
The governor’s office says it gives evidence-based recommendations for things including academics, wellness, school culture, family, and post secondary education.
The plan came from the Student Recovery Advisory Council, formed in February, which recognizes that some students have fallen behind in their school competencies. The group says other students have simply stopped attending classes or taking online lessons.
