EAST LANSING, MI — Michigan State University students and staff looking to get the Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine can walk up today and Friday to the MSU Pavillion without needing an appointment.
The clinic is in partnership with the Ingham County Health Department and located at the North end of the Pavilion Center, according to a web post from the university. Clinic hours are from 9:00 A.M. TO 4:00 P.M. Thursday and Friday.
Anyone age 16 and older is eligible for the vaccine, which is at no out-of-pocket cost. MSU staff and students are reminded to bring their ID cards with them.
“About half of the eligible population in Ingham County has been vaccinated,” said Ingham County Health Officer Linda S. Vail. “We are now trying to reach segments of the population who have barriers or hesitations around the vaccine. Convenience is a factor for some people, and we are trying to make it easier to get vaccinated.”
