The majority of the band members might be over 60, but that doesn't mean Judas Priest will be staying home after their new album is released. Singer Rob Halford tells ABC News Radio, "I'm sure we'll be going" on tour. The singer adds, "We're excited about going out and playing some live shows. When you're in a recording studio and you're putting the tracks down, you instinctively feel, 'Oh, man, I can't wait to blast out "Redeemer of Souls" on stage.'"
But before that can happen, there's some business at hand -- namely releasing "March of the Damned" as a single and finishing the song's video. Halford tells ABC News Radio that a performance video just "isn't interesting enough, [so] I think we're looking to do something a bit more intriguing, give it a bit more visual artistic value."
The video may end up mirroring the visual feel of Judas Priest's over-the-top album covers. Halford says "the thing that we love about Priest's music in general is that it's timeless. We want to try to find a timeless type of video storyboard treatment to [our] first single. We have no idea really what the general outcome will be but it'll be great."
Keep your eyes peeled for the Judas Priest "March of the Damned" video.
