The Tigers completed a two-game series sweep of the Los Angeles Dodgers with a 4-1 win yesterday at Comerica Park. Austin Jackson went two-for-four at the plate and scored twice, while Ian Kinsler, Torii Hunter, Don Kelly and Nick Castellanos each had an RBI. Max Scherzer gave up one run on four hits while striking out seven in seven innings for his 11th win of the season and Joe Nathan notched his 18th save. Tonight, Detroit is in Kansas City to begin the last series before the All-Star break. Drew Smyly gets the start for the Tigers and Jeremy Guthrie will take the mound for the Royals.
