AUBURN HILLS (WKZO) -- American car buyers will have another choice very soon with the return of Italy's Alfa-Romeo to select dealer showrooms.
Fiat Chrysler Automotobiles CEO Sergio Marchionne said earlier this year the brand would return to the United States with the Alfa-Romeo 4C sports car. The vehicle is lightweight and has a turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 240 horsepower.
Alfa Romeo has been absent from the American market for the past 14 years. The vehicles will be sold at Maserati dealerships in the U.S. by the end of June.
