Governor Snyder speaks on migrant children

GRAND HAVEN (WKZO) -- The numbers aren't adding up as to how many migrant children from Central America who have been flowing across the U.S. border are in Michigan. Organizations in Kent County estimate at least 320 kids have been placed in the Grand Rapids area this year, but Governor Snyder says he's been told by the federal government the total number in the state is just 92.

Speaking in Grand Haven, Snyder says he has been asking the federal government for an accurate total, but so have other governors. Rallies in support of the children were held Friday in Battle Creek and Grand Rapids.
