The Tigers lost to the White Sox 7-4 yesterday afternoon at Comerica Park. In his finial outing with Detroit, Drew Smyly got a no-decision, giving up four runs on 11 hits while striking out two in five innings. Reliever Joakim Soria was charged with the loss. Smyly and outfielder Austin Jackson were part of a three-team trade which sends pitcher David Price from the Tampa Bay Rays to the Tigers. Jackson went two-for-four with an RBI, while Torii Hunter and J.D. Martinez hit back-to-back solo home runs in the third inning.
