AFI has scored their third top-10 album on the Billboard 200.
The group’s ninth studio album, Burials , snagged the #9 spot this week with 25,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. AFI first entered the top 10 with 2003's Sing the Sorrow , which debuted at #5. Then the guys topped the chart with 2006’s Decemberunderground its first week out. The band’s previous album, 2009's Crash Love , debuted and peaked at #12 with 52,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
AFI is currently on the road promoting Burials . The band's North American trek hits the West Coast this week with shows at the Roseland Theatre in Portland, OR, on Thursday; The Showbox at the Market in Seattle on Friday; and The Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, Canada, on Saturday.
