WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKZO) -- A ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court on Michigan's 2006 voter-approved ban on affirmative action is likely to come next year.  Justices heard arguments Tuesday for and against Proposal 2, which has been struck down by a lower court.  The high court appears to be leaning toward upholding the constitutional amendment, which could also impact states like Arizona, California and Washington where similar measures have passed.
