An assistant professor at Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine has pleaded guilty to malicious destruction of property. Patricia Schenck, 55, was sentenced last Friday to two years probation and $10,000 in restitution. Schenck was charged with felony neglect of 10 or more animals in January. Schenck lives north of Dewitt in Clinton County.
