DETROIT (WKZO) -- Civil rights groups and activists are warning of protests that may turn physical if Governor Rick Snyder appoints an emergency financial manager to run the city of Detroit.
In the past week, protestors with the National Action Network have taken to the roads to slow down traffic during morning and afternoon rush hours to protest the move. Leaders of other groups have promised civil disobedience and have hinted that protestors will form a human chain around the city building to prevent an emergency financial manager from taking office.
