LANSING (WKZO) -- The office of Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette says the state will not adhere to a new federal rule that allows small pocket knives in airports and on planes.  His office says the state law banning those weapons remains in effect as it has been since just after the 9-11 terrorist attacks.  Federal rules are being relaxed to allow knives up to 2.36-inches long along with lacrosse sticks, hockey sticks, two golf clubs, toy bats, ski poles and billiard cues.
