DETROIT (WKZO) -- A new poll shows that former Detroit Medical Center CEO Mike Duggan is leading in the race to become Detroit's next mayor.
According to a poll by Mitchell Research, Duggan and Wayne County Sheriff Benny Napoleon are the two top contenders with 38-percent and 17-percent of the vote respectively. The number three spot goes to current Mayor Dave Bing, who is yet to announce if he intends to run for re-election, with eight percent.
The primary will be held in August.
