Alkaline Trio Posts Performance Video for “I, Pessimist”; Announces North American Tour Dates

Alkaline Trio is giving us a taste of their upcoming album, My Shame Is True , due out April 2.  The band has posted a video for a cut from the album, “I, Pessimist,” which includes guest vocals by Rise Against frontman Tim McIlrath .

The two-minute clip, which can be viewed at RollingStone.com , features footage of the band rehearsing and performing the track in the studio with McIlrath.

In other Alkaline Trio news, the band will be hitting the road next month to promote My Shame Is True . That trek kicks off on April 25 at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California, and will make stops in Las Vegas, Dallas, Ft. Lauderdale, Chicago and Seattle, among other cities.  Bayside  and Off with Their Heads will support the band on all dates.
