DETROIT (WKZO) -- For the first time in the company's history, General Motors took the top spot when it came to best-performing auto manufacturer in J.D. Power and Associates Initial Quality Study.
While celebrating the rating with about two-thousand employees at it's Warren Tech Center, CEO Dan Akerson also announced the promotion of Alicia Boler-Davis. Davis will take over as Senior Vice President of Global Quality and U.S. Customer Experience.
Davis will now report directly to Akerson.
