Frontman Ivan Moody says that Five Finger Death Punch is planning to take some time off after they're done promoting their upcoming double album, The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell .

“I talked to the guys [in 5FDP] and after doing five records like this, it's time to take a little bit of space from each other,” he tells Metal Shrine .  “That way, when we come back to do the next album, it'll be fresh to us again.”

Moody adds that he’ll be keeping busy during the break, announcing that he has plans to go solo after the 5FDP's tour ends.  “I'm actually going to do a side project after this next album cycle,” he reveals.  “I've already got a few guys on the line, that I'm really proud to say I'm gonna work alongside with.”

The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell Volume 1 will arrive at all the usual outlets on July 30 and will be available in a variety of formats, including standard and deluxe digital versions and a limited-edition box set. The second installment of the album will be released sometime in the fall.
