NEW YORK  (WKZO) -- There are now four Baltimore Orioles slated to start the MLB All-Star Game in New York, and only one Tiger  position player.

Outfielder Nick Markakis took over Tiger Torii Hunter's spot as the third outfielder. Hunter now trails a starting position by around 40-thousand votes.

Fellow Oriole Adam Jones is the leading vote-getter for American League outfielders, 30-thousand votes up on Mike Trout of the Angels. Chris Davis of Baltimore is the top vote-getter at first base with nearly three-million.

Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano, Orioles shortstop J.J. Hardy, Tigers third baseman Miguel Cabrera, Twins catcher Joe Mauer and Red Sox DH David Ortiz are also the leading vote-getters at their respective positions.

Cabrera is the top overall vote-getter with 3.2-million. An updated National League vote tally will be released on Sunday. The All-Star Game is on July 16th at Citi Field home of the Mets.
