It appears that Black Sabbath 's long-awaited album, 13 , reuniting the band with original frontman Ozzy Osbourne , will make a big splash on both sides of the Atlantic.
According to HITS Daily Double , 13 is expected to dominate the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart next week, with sales estimated to come in somewhere around 120,000 to 130,000 copies. Black Sabbath's highest-charting album in the U.S. to date is the band's third studio effort, Masters of Reality , which peaked at #8 back in 1971.
As for the U.K., 13 is expected to beat out Beady Eye 's sophomore album, BE , for the #1 slot on the country's Official Albums Chart next week. That's according to the U.K.'s Official Charts Company , which keeps track of record sales. If the predictions are true, 13 will be the group's first album to score the top spot on that tally since its sophomore release, Paranoid , did so in 1970.
13 is the first full-length Black Sabbath studio album to feature Osbourne since 1978's Never Say Die .
The new Billboard 200 chart's top 10 will be revealed on Wednesday, while the Official Albums Chart will unveil its latest rankings on Monday.
