AUBURN HILLS (WKZO) -- A pair of recalls for Jeep vehicles has been announced by Chrysler Group LLC.
The automaker says 400-thousand Jeep Patriot and Compass models built between 2010 and 2012 will have a software update done for the restraint system. The glitch may result in delayed or non-deployment of the seatbelt tensioner in an accident according to the automaker.
Approximately 220-thousand Jeep SUV's will be recalled to replace a transmission cooler line that may wear out prematurely. No injuries or accidents have been attributed to either problem.
