LANSING, MI (WTVB) - Would be wolf hunters in the state…hurry up and wait. The Michigan Department of Natural Resources needs more time to get their computers ready for the anticipated high demand for wolf hunting licenses. Consequently the sale of those licenses will be postponed. The original plan was to start selling wolf hunting licenses this Saturday, August 3rd. Sales will now begin on September 28th. Because they've been removed from the endangered species list, wolves can now be hunted in the Upper Peninsula.
