As expected, Skillet and August Burns Red both secured positions in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 albums chart this week.

Skillet’s ninth studio album, Rise , scored the #4 spot on the tally, racking up 60,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The successful sales week makes Rise the band’s second top-10 album on the list, following 2009’s Awake . That release debuted and peaked at #2 on the chart, with 68,000 copies sold its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Meanwhile, August Burns Red scored their first top-10 album on the chart with their latest album, Rescue & Restore . That album nabbed the #9 slot on the Billboard 200 album chart this week, with 26,000 copies sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Before Rise , the group’s 2011 album Leveler came the closest to the top 10 when it debuted and peaked at #11 on the list, racking up 29,000 copies its first week out.
