Mumford & Sons have announced that two documentaries which feature performances from the band, Mumford & Sons: The Road to Red Rocks and Big Easy Express , will be premiering on Showtime in February.
Mumford & Sons: The Road to Red Rocks , a film that documents two of the band’s sold-out shows at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO, will air on Friday at 8 p.m. ET. In addition to live performances from both of the band’s albums, the film includes exclusive interviews and behind-the-scenes footage.
Meanwhile, Big Easy Express will have its premiere on Showtime one week later on February 8 at 8 p.m. ET. That documentary features performances by and behind-the-scenes footage of Mumford & Sons, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Old Crow Medicine Show as they all traveled by train from San Francisco to New Orleans during 2011’s Railroad Revival Tour.
An encore showing of Mumford & Sons: The Road to Red Rocks will air on Showtime following the premiere of Big Easy Express .
