DETROIT (WKZO) -- A Democratic Detroit Mayoral candidate will be airing a campaign ad during the Super Bowl.

Candidate Lisa Howze plans to run her first major campaign ad during the February 3rd event.  Howze's Campaign Director Brandon Jessup says the ad will focus on a brighter future for the city and its residents.

Howze declared her candidacy in February of last year and says she's focused on helping end crime and fixing the city's finances.
