The flu outbreak is impacting the level of blood donations across the state. Red Cross officials say fewer people are donating right now and many are canceling appointments to donate because of the flu. While the blood supply is fairly stable right now, Red Cross officials say they expect it to change quickly if the flu continues to spread.
