DETROIT (WKZO) -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Michigan is announcing details of a lawsuit in regards to an incident at Detroit Metro Airport two years ago. The lawsuit is centered around 36-year-old Shoshana Hebshi, an Ohio woman of Arab and Jewish descent and a freelance journalist, who claims she was illegally arrested, detained and strip-searched at Detroit Metro Airport on September 11, 2011.
In a blog post by Hebshi, who is a freelance journalist, she wrote that she and two Indian-American men sitting next to her were handcuffed and removed from an airplane at the end of a flight from Denver to Detroit.
