A Lansing man accused in the Friday shooting of another now faces assault and weapons charges. Andrew Elliot in court Monday heard those new charges. Elliot alledgedly shot another man in the abdomen during an argument Friday night in the 500 block of Edgewood Blvd. The victim is recovering.
