DETROIT (WKZO) -- There are no plans for General Motors to sell their Opel Division in Europe.  CEO Dan Akerson once again stated the automakers position not to sell off the brand and also said it "will not be given away."  Analysts say GM has lost over 16-billion dollars in Europe since 2000 and will not return to profitability until 2015.  Rumors of General Motors selling off Opel have been swirling for several months.
