DETROIT (WKZO) -- Automakers and industry experts predict there will be a big change in the sale of full-size pickup trucks in 2013. The North American International Auto Show kicks off with press preview days on Monday and Detroit's Big Three will have high profile displays for their pickups.
The RAM 1500 pickup, the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra have gotten makeovers and Ford will be giving visitors a preview of the next generation of the F-150. Sales of trucks have been slow for the past several years but analysts expect sales to continue their rebound.
Last year, nearly 1.7-million new pickups were sold in the U.S. after hitting an all-time low in 2009.
