LANSING (WKZO) -- Oakland County Judge Colleen O'Brien is seen as a front-runner to replace retiring Michigan Supreme Court Justice Diane Hathaway. Hathaway announced that she will retire later this month amid a real estate scandal and FBI investigation.
O'Brien was a nominee on the November 6th ballot and lost to Bridget McCormack and Stephen Markman in a three-way race for two seats on the court. She is considered the favorite among Governor Rick Snyder's choices to replace Hathaway.
