The new president of the Lansing City Council vows to work closely with Mayor Virg Bernero on the budget and other items despite a rocky history getting along. Carol Wood was voted into the position yesterday and laid out her intentions for the city. She plans to schedule regular meetings with the mayor to improve communication.  A’Lynne Robinson is the new board vice president.
