ST. IGNACE (WKZO) -- Michigan State Police are looking into a possible New Year's Eve suicide off of the Mackinac Bridge.

Troopers from the St. Ignace post were called to the bridge on a report someone had jumped, finding an abandoned vehicle just to the north of the mid-point of the bridge.  No body has yet been found despite a search by the Coast Guard.

The last suicide from the Mackinac Bridge came in January 2010.
