LANSING (WKZO) -- Pet owners beware, dog licenses are about to double in price. Friday is the last day to renew state-required licenses for dogs without digging much deeper into one's pocketbook. Fees will jump to 24-dollars for spayed or neutered pets and 52-dollars for dogs that haven't been sterilized.
