LANSING (WKZO) -- Toyota has reached a settlement with Michigan and 28 other states over safety issues related to unintended acceleration.  The automaker will pay the Great Lakes State 1.6-million dollars as part of the deal.  In all, Toyota is paying out 29-million dollars.  Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette said in a statement the settlement "ensures Toyota drives can have confidence in the safety of the vehicles they drive."
